Course Overview

Diversitat Training have partnered with industry to provide this dual qualification. The program of study is designed to maximise students learning of theoretical frameworks and skills embedded in practical application. Face to Face work is a key component. By completing the program graduates will be able to work as a counsellor either within a practice or in a role that involves counselling integrated with other functions for example case management within a Community Service organisation.

CHC51712 Diploma of Counselling

CHC51712 Diploma of Counselling provides the skills and knowledge required to undertake counselling work in a range of modalities. Key features of this nationally recognised qualification include core counselling, referral and working within a case management framework.

CHC42015 Certificate IV in Community Services

CHC42015 Certificate IV in Community Services addresses work roles that usually involve service delivery, either direct client work and /or community education or development. Key features of this nationally recognised qualification include managing diversity, responding to people at risk of harm as well as designing and delivering programmes which aim to enhance the well-being of individuals and groups
