ETHICAL MARKETING

We will tell you:

  • The facts about the jobs and industries in our region
  • What jobs you could apply for and further study you could go into
  • If your course of study is nationally accredited or not
  • About us and who we deal with in providing your education
  • What your commitment will be, including:
  • The hours of training, placement and homework
  • Where you will need to go for training
  • Books and other materials you need
  • How much it will cost and if you will have a student loan to repay
  • If you are eligible for funding, and how this will affect your future eligibility

We will not:

  • Tell you things that are false
  • Enrol you in a course that does not suit you
  • Pressure you into enrolling in a course
  • Hide information about who we are and what we do.
UNDERSTANDING YOU

We will take the time to understand you and what you really want to do.
We will explore:

  • The kind of jobs you are interested in
  • What you already know
  • The skills you already have
  • If you need any extra help and support to study
  • Eligibility for the funding that you are entitled to.

We will:

  • Explore every option with you
  • Give you time to decide if you want to go ahead with your enrolment
  • Help you if your situation changes or if you change your mind

Then:

  • We will match what you really want to do with a course we offer.
    If we can’t we will tell you.

STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT

When you study with us we expect you to:

  • Be actively involved
  • Complete the work set
  • Attend all classes and be on time
  • Tell us if you are not able to attend
  • Ask for help if you need it
  • Treat other students and the trainer with respect and dignity
  • Respect other students privacy

You must not

  • Come to class if you are under the influence of any substances
  • Bully or harass other students, the trainer or other people at Diversitat
  • Copy other students work
  • Copy published work without crediting the original author
QUALITY TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT

We will provide you with:

  • Up to date courses
  • Experienced Trainers and Assessors
  • Equipment and resources relevant to your course
  • A plan for training that is suitable for your individual needs
  • Time to understand and practice new skills and knowledge
  • Updates on your progress
  • Help and support if your situation changes

We will

  • Let you know when, how and where you will be assessed
  • Provide you with assessment feedback
  • Support you if you have difficulty completing your studies
