The 22301VIC Certificate I in Transition Education is intended to support learners with permanent intellectual disabilities to develop the skills to find the most appropriate option for them in the community after leaving school. This may include employment, volunteer work or further study.

At You Turn we understand that people engaged in education have the best outcomes for their future and we have created a program that is personalised and assists people in making choices to help them plan a future pathway into education, volunteering or employment.

We offer a hands-on approach to the 22301VIC Certificate I in Transition Education .

Our Transition Education program is suitable for students who have an interest in trades and enjoy practical learning.

You will learn basic reading, writing and numeracy and you will have the opportunity to be introduced to three different trades: carpentry, mechanics and spray painting and develop skills used for employment and volunteering.

YouTurn site offers an alternative to other foundation programs as we focus on communication, building on peoples strengths and life skills for independence.

Our program is suitable for people who have a permanent intellectual disability and who have left secondary education or people who meet the criteria for current secondary students.

Our Transition Education program runs over 3 days per week for 12 months.
