22301VIC Certificate I in Transition Education
This course is designed to prepare students for adult learning and enhance skills to find the most appropriate option after leaving school. To develop life skills to engage into the community and live independently or in supported accommodation. Students will participate in excursions and activities that will help them to engage with the community and learn about various work places.
Who is this course for?
Learners with an permanent cognitive impairment /intellectual disability who are ready to learn skills for community involvement and increase wellbeing and live an independent lifestyle.
Course Structure
Diversitat will come to your site with all resources and equipment required. Learners are expected to attend two sessions (approx 3 hours in duration) per week over the course of 1 year.
Times and dates are flexible and can be nominated by the day service. The course will be delivered at no cost to the day service participants.
