The 22293VIC – Certificate I in Initial Adult Literacy and Numeracy is intended to support development of the literacy and numeracy skills of learners with intellectual disabilities.
At Diversitat Training we understand that literacy and numeracy is vital in developing communication and life skills and as such our programs aim to assist people develop and enhance these skills for preparation for the future.
We offer a social and inclusive learning environment with trainers with over 5 years’ experience in developing foundation skills for personal growth and development.
Our Initial Adult literacy and numeracy program is suitable for students who are wanting to develop their literacy and numeracy skills for further pathways into education, employment or volunteering.
Diversitat programs offer an alternative to other foundation programs as we focus on communication, building on peoples strengths and life skills for independence.
Our program is suitable for people who have a cognitive disability and who have left secondary education or people who meet the criteria for current secondary students.
