Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
For students who wish to extend their learning and practice, we also offer the CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. This course will enable you to design and implement curricula within early childhood education and care services, while considering the intellectual, social, emotional and physical needs of the children.
The CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education is suitable for people who are looking to work as an Early Childhood educator or who expect to hold some kind of supervisory or management role. During the course, you will be required to undertake 240 hours of practical placement, and will be assessed using a variety of methods.
We also offer the CHC30213 Certificate III in Education Support for people who are looking to work in a support role within a variety of education settings. As part of the course you’ll learn how to assist teachers to plan and implement class material, and how to provide support to children with special needs.
Emphasis will also be placed on supporting people who are culturally diverse, which will open up opportunities to work within a culturally diverse school or as an Indigenous Language and Culture Teaching Assistant.

If you wish to continue your learning, the next stage will be the CHC40213 Certificate IV in Education Support, which will give you the skills and knowledge you need to support and assist students in a range of educational settings including roles as a Teacher’s Aide or Support Worker.
